Skeletons

That "everyone has skeletons in their closet," metaphor has merit. But one thing about skeletons; they don't have the capacity to resurrect, unless we consciously open that forbidden closet of shame, and give those skeletons permission to live.
God has an amazing mandate which defy human logic. To know that the awful choices of sin we sometimes commit without a guilt complex, and yet God embraces our call for mercy and temporary help. His love for us cast our sins in a "sea of forgetfulness," and beckons us to come unto Him which offers us a clean slate if we would covenant with the King of mercy and grace. No longer will we wallow in guilt and shame. Only if we knew His plans for us which are tailored made, we would humble ourselves and seek the face of Jesus and turn from trending wickedness.

We no longer have to give life or memoriam to DEAD relationships and forgiven sins, forgotten iniquities, and carcasses of guilt and shame. God's compassions are NEW each morning and His grace overtakes our daily lives. The Holy Spirit leads away from dark past and offers newness and light. Jesus is that Light!
